So here is the video from Wednesday, I was a little dissapointed that I ran out of battery...

At the start is getting the go buttons going, no contact and going
Second part is asking to soften and do more
Third is when he has some awesome moments that I wanted to catch on camera (but didn't) because the battery bleeped on my
Forth is the last remaining battery to get one shot of the jump.
What we did figure out with his jumping and twisting, is he is overjumping, and coming up short all the time.
To start the jumping, we set out 2 poles 20m apart and just cantered down them, to check his stride length naturally, held, and pushed - and he is near on perfect striding - so the question was asked, how is it that he alway appears to jump through combos looking like he is so long?
He over jumps, lands to far out, and buggars the rest of the line up simple.
What we then did was a 3 stride double... and started adding poles in, one on landing after the first fence - BINGO.
Then he started to get a little clever, and landed long, and landed half over the first pole - so V poles went up to keep him straight.
And more poles were placed in the line.
The final result was fantastic, and he started doing his real "jumps" not just flopping over them getting a chance to figure himself out. Missed the best jump of the day... the one in the clip is roughly the 2nd? time through the line, with V poles out wide to start with.
So pleased with how he is going, I stil have at least another 4 weeks before I can ride but I'm going up to watch armed with exercises for him and massages.
